William Gallas is reported to have rejected a new two-year deal at Arsenal after he skipped the club's end of season awards ceremony.
The defender missed the Gunners' 4-0 win over Fulham on Sunday as he is back home in France undergoing treatment on a calf injury.
But Arsenal's other injured stars including Cesc Fabregas, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Song and Manuel Almunia all joined up with their team-mates at the Emirates.
The Evening Standard reports Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has offered Gallas a two-year deal but the players would have to take a pay cut from his current £80,000-a-week deal.
Roma, Paris St-Germain and AC Milan are among a number of clubs monitoring the situation with Gallas favouring a move abroad should he fail to agree terms with the Gunners.Wenger hinted he will look to strengthen in defence, with Gallas, Sol Campbell and Mikael Silvestre all yet to renew their deals.'The three defenders are players who are free to decide what they do,' said Wenger.
