Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is refusing to rule out a move for former midfielder Patrick Vieira late in the transfer window.
Vieira was heavily linked with a return to the north London club earlier in the summer after slipping down the pecking order at Internazionale.
The window of opportunity appeared to close earlier in the month and Wenger seemed cool on the possibility of re-signing the 33-year-old France international.
Vieira too also appeared to pledge his future to the Italian champions following a strong pre-season.
But the Gunners boss is still refusing to rule out the possibility of bringing Vieira back to the Premier League before the transfer window closes on September 1.
"I'm not yet moving for him. But until 31st August, it's possible," he said.
Vieira made almost 300 Premier League appearances for the Gunners during nine seasons in north London.
