Wenger: We lack maturity

Arsene Wenger does not think Arsenal are guaranteed a top-four spot after watching his profligate side waste a string of scoring chances in the 1-0 defeat at Everton.
The Gunners remain third as a result of Liverpool's draw at Aston Villa, but Wenger was unhappy with his side's wastefulness in front of goal, before Andrew Johnson stepped in to score a stopage-time winner for David Moyes' battling outfit.
"We are not guaranteed to be in the top four and we want to be in there," Wenger lamented. "We have a very difficult programme.
"We are disappointed because it was a dull, scrappy game with no spark.
"Everton were going for the long ball and overall we controlled them very well, but they had a little more power in the final third. It is difficult to take losing a game like this but we have to cope with it. We are a little bit jaded at the moment.
"We had plenty of opportunities we did not use because the final ball was too late or not accurate enough. But we battled hard and the spirit was excellent but we did not create enough.
"It is very frustrating because you feel there is potential in there. We feel we make the minimum at the moment.
"This month has been very hard for us. We lost at Blackburn in the last minutes, we lost here in the last minutes and went out against Eindhoven in the last minutes. That means we miss maturity in dealing with that."
