Arsene Wenger does not believe
Arsenal's best chance of progression has slipped through their fingers despite being held to a goalless Champions League draw at home by AC Milan.
The Gunners missed a string of chances in the first leg of the last 16 tie at the Emirates Stadium to set up a tricky return leg against the defending champions at the San Siro in two weeks' time,
EmManUel Adebayor rattled the crossbar in stoppage time with a close-range header to sum up their night, but Wenger remains convinced his side can still progress to the quarter-finals.
"It promises to be a very interesting game in the second leg," he said. "I feel we can still progress because we can play at a high tempo for 90 minutes.
"Milan will have to come out for the second leg. They didn't create any chances tonight, while defensively we were very good.
"Overall, 0-0 at home isn't bad. I didn't dream of that scoreline but to not concede a goal is not bad.
"Milan will start as favourites in the San Siro but we can deal with that."
Meanwhile, Wenger has revealed that Kolo Toure will be absent for up to four weeks after limping off after just seven minutes with a calf injury.
The Ivory Coast defender recently returned from Africa Cup of Nations duty and Wenger was swift to apportion blame for the injury.
He said: "Kolo has a calf injury and, from what I can see, he will be out for at least three to four weeks," he said.
"The injury was a consequence of the African Nations Cup."
