Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he may take action against Emmanuel Adebayor and Nicklas Bendtner over their spat in the Carling Cup semi-final defeat at Spurs.
The duo clashed angrily towards the end of the 5-1 thrashing at White Hart Lane, with the FA deciding to take no further action after reviewing video footage of the incident.
However, Wenger is prepared to discipline the duo, saying: "There is always action taken when it is needed.
"I believe from then on it is better for us not to talk about it any more. You want to deal with that internally, but disagreements are part of the game as well.
"Every single manager will be surprised by what has been made of that story, but that is part of being at Arsenal.
"We want to know what kind of incident happened, but we will deal with this without any problem.
"We will even use this to be conscious of how much every incident, even a minor one, can be interpreted on the outside and that will even improve our togetherness inside the team."
Meanwhile, Wenger has also confirmed that England striker Theo Walcott will not be leaving the club on loan due to a number of injuries among the Gunners squad.
