Wenger rues missed chances

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admitted his "fragile" side deserved to be knocked out of the Carling Cup after losing 2-0 to Burnley at the quarter-final stage. The Gunners boss again used the competition to field a much-changed line-up and despite carving out a number of goalscoring opportunities against the Championship outfit, his youthful side were unable to find the net. Clarets goalkeeper Brian Jensen was named man-of-the-match after he saved a number of chances when one-on-one with Arsenal strikers. "We had six one-on-ones with the goalkeeper and didn't score and we were a bit fragile at the back as well," admitted Wenger. "Overall we had plenty of chances but if you don't score your one-on-ones, you have to question your right to qualify. "Tonight you have to praise their keeper and question the strikers."
