Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has rubbished reports suggesting Mathieu Flamini has agreed a deal to join Juventus.
The French midfielder is yet to agree terms on a new contract to remain at the Emirates Stadium despite his current deal expiring at the end of the season.
Flamini could leave on a free transfer in the summer leading to speculation that a host of clubs have sounded out his representatives over a potential move.
However, Wenger is adamant that the France international will not be joining Juventus as he has received an assurance from the Italian club that they are not looking to sign the former Marseille youngster.
"Juventus called me and told me that they were not interested in Mathieu Flamini," claimed Wenger.
The 24-year-old has transformed himself from bit-part player to first-team regular at the Emirates Stadium this season.
Flamini has made 40 appearances for the Gunners during the current campaign and his form has kept experienced Brazil midfielder and former captain Gilberto Silva out of the side.
