Wenger raps dive culture

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has condemned a diving culture prevalent in the Premier League in the wake of his side's 4-1 thrashing at home to Chelsea on Sunday. A contentious award of a free-kick led to Alex's opener for Chelsea after Didier Drogba took a tumble outside of Arsenal's box. Gunners captain Cesc Fabregas was cautioned for dissent after suggesting the Chelsea striker had taken a dive and now Wenger has suggested Drogba goes to ground too easily. When quizzed post-match over whether Drogba had dived he said: "We live in a league now where the divers are rewarded. It is not right, but it is like that. "I do not want to go into any individual assessments. It is down to the referee to do his job. "I don't think it (the free-kick) should have been given, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't win the header after that. "The referee will make some decisions for you or against you, but we should still have cleared the ball from the cross."
