Wenger on Madrid radar

President Ramon Calderon has named Arsene Wenger among a list of potential candidates for the Real Madrid job should Fabio Capello part company with the newly-crowned Spanish champions.
Real have yet to decide on the future of Capello despite the Italian coach guiding the club to a first La Liga title in four years.
Relations between coach and president are believed to be strained and Calderon has already spelled out his vision for the future should Capello be forced out of the Bernabeu.
"(Sporting director Predrag) Mijatovic has spoken to me about (Michael) Laudrup, (Ronald) Koeman and Wenger, among others," he revealed.
"We are waiting on the report from the club's sporting department.
"They will make recommendations as to whether Capello should continue as coach. We will decide on Monday or Tuesday."
Earlier in the month, Wenger insisted he would remain at Arsenal until his current contract finishes next summer.
However, he refused to confirm whether he will still be at the Emirates Stadium after the end of next season.
"I have a contract for one more year here and I will complete that contract," he said.
"I have never broken a contract in my entire career and I will not break a contract now. So I can tell you categorically that I will be at the club next season.
"And next summer I will sit down with the board and see."
