Nicklas Bendtner insists he will prove Arsene Wenger was right to keep his cash in his pocket in January and not sign a new striker - because he will fire Arsenal to glory.[LNB]The Dane, who scored the Gunners opener in last weekend's 2-0 win over Sundeland, answered Wenger's call for a striker when he returned to action last month after spending three months on the sidelines.[LNB] Net buster: Nicklas Bendtner has vowed to hit the goal trail and repay Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger's faith in him[LNB]With Robin Van Persie expected to miss the rest of the season and the departure of Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City last summer, the Arsenal boss was urged to sign a new frontman to steer the club to their first trophy in five years.[LNB]But the Frenchman resisted the opportunity, arguing he had Bendtner's comeback to look forward to and now the 22-year-old is keen to repay his manager's faith.[LNB] Leading the line: Bendtner is confident he can show Wenger was right not to buy a new striker in January[LNB]'All I have to do now is show him he made the right choice.
