Wenger unhappy with decisions

Arsene Wenger believes his Arsenal side were on the wrong end of numerous bad refereeing decisions against West Ham on Sunday. The Gunners gave away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Upton Park in a game they looked certain to win with just 20 minutes remaining. Robin van Persie and William Gallas gave the visitors a comfortable advantage but a goal from Carlton Cole and a penalty from Alessandro Diamanti dragged the Hammers back into the game. However Arsenal felt aggrieved with the decision to award West Ham a free-kick that led to the hosts' first goal and the penalty which brought about the equaliser when Alexandre Song felled Cole. "It is disappointing because we had a good game and get away with the minimum. I believe we were a bit unlucky today with decisions and in their kind of circumstances West Ham did fight for their life and made it very difficult," he told Sky Sports 1. "I believe we had many disadvantages in the game but overall we played a good game and unfortunately we couldn't finish the third goal off. "We had plenty of opportunities in the second half and in the end when the other team comes back to 2-1 and any little decision goes against you, you can pay for it."
