Arsene Wenger will decide in the next few days whether to bring Patrick Vieira back to Arsenal. The Emirates boss admits he is seriously mulling over breaking with tradition by signing a 33-year-old player in the twilight of his career. Trophy boy: Vieira lifts the FA Cup in 2005 - Arsenal's last major honour But Vieira, and Arsenal hero, is an exception and a surprisingly candidWenger said the France international's winning mentality was as much anattraction as his ability in the middle of the park. 'I don't deny that,' said Wenger of the Inter Milan player, 'but you have an impact when you play. 'Patrick is a great player. I have not considered it yet to bring him back; it is a possibility that I have to think about. 'First of all, it is not sure that he will decide to join us if I decide to try to make him come. So there is a lot of thinking to be done. 'I have a general policy about re-signing players but I never said I would never do it. 'I am not a big fan because I feel once the players have gone, they have gone. 'If I want to call Patrick I can call his English number. But nobody will move at the moment.' Vieira is understood to have ruled out a move to north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur despite first being keen on joining up with Harry Redknapp's men.
