Wenger looks to clinch last-minute deal for Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made a last-ditch attempt to sign Marouane Chamakh from Bordeaux.
Wenger has already had a £5m bid for the striker turned down but has gone back to the French club with a new offer, reports The Daily Mirror.
Wenger has also not given up on re-signing Highbury legend PatrickVieira from Inter Milan and is interested in St Etienne's Blaise Matuidi.
