Wenger: I've got no beef with Brown

The two clash at the Emirates Stadium after a week in which Wenger has been strident in his criticism of the Premier League fixture list.[LNB]The Arsenal manager is angry that the Gunners have had to play Liverpool last Sunday and Burnley in midweek before hosting Hull, while Brown's side have had a free week.[LNB]Brown had no sympathy for Wenger while Stoke's Tony Pulis told the Gunners boss to "stop moaning like a drain."[LNB]Wenger, whose Arsenal side were drawn against Porto in the last 16 of the Champions League on Friday, said: "I gave my opinion and there is nothing personal in it and I completely understand other managers might have another opinion.[LNB]"I am one of the few who really says what he thinks. I am not scared. But I give my opinion without any aggression.[LNB]"They (Hull) are a team I respect because they try to play football and they have a positive attitude. That is more important for me for football than any personal relationship with a manager."[LNB]It was a welcome olive branch ahead of a fixture which sparked a storm when the teams met at the Emirates in an FA Cup quarter-final in March, when Arsenal won 2-1.[LNB]Hull's assistant manager Brian Horton accused Cesc Fabregas of spitting at him after the match and manager Brown launched a verbal attack on the Arsenal captain, who had watched the game from the bench.[LNB]Fabregas and Horton also clashed as they made their way down the tunnel, although Fabregas was later cleared by an FA inquiry.[LNB]Fabregas misses Saturday's match with the hamstring strain which he picked up in midweek against Burnley and which will keep him out of action for around 10 days. Denilson, having recovered from a back injury, is set to deputise.[LNB]Wenger also revealed that he is ready to loan teenage midfielder Jack Wilshere to Burnley in January.[LNB]However, he predicts a quiet transfer window overall.[LNB]He said: "People don't realise there is no money in football, in Europe and in general. We live in dreamland in football. If you look at the number of clubs who struggle in the Premier League and in the Championship in England then it's time for us to get a wake-up call.[LNB]"In England in football the financial situation overall is very poor. So do not expect a very busy transfer market."[LNB][LNB] Arsenal v Hull. Click here to bet.
