Wenger hopeful over Cesc

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed there is a 'chance' Cesc Fabregas will be available for this weekend's clash against Manchester United. The Gunners captain sustained a hamstring injury during the recent 4-1 win over Portsmouth and he underwent a scan earlier this week. Fabregas will now miss Wednesday's UEFA Champions League play-off tie against Celtic but could make his return for Saturday's game at Old Trafford. Wenger is optimistic Fabregas could be at his disposal for the crunch encounter after explaining the results of the scan were 'quite reassuring'. "From last Saturday we lost Cesc Fabregas who did not train today," he told the club's official website. "His scan was quite reassuring as he has no muscular strain but it will take a few days to settle down. "There's a chance he'll be fit for Old Trafford." Arsenal will be looking to maintain their perfect start to the Premier League season when they tackle United, live on Sky Sports 1 & HD1.
