Wenger fully focussed on Hammers

Arsene Wenger may have just turned 60, but the desire to drive his young Arsenal side on to bigger and better things burns as fierce as ever. The Gunners head to struggling West Ham on Sunday looking to extend a run of four successive Barclays Premier League victories. They are unbeaten over the last eight in all competitions. Conceding a stoppage-time equaliser to AZ Alkmaar in the midweek Champions League game somewhat dampened the birthday spirit, but French coach Wenger remains fully focused on the task ahead. "There is nothing to celebrate," insisted the Arsenal manager. "On Thursday, I was at the AGM like everybody. "We have to prepare for the West Ham game, and after we go to the next game. It is as simple as that. "Who can predict how long you will be available in any job? Nobody knows. I want to give my energy to win the next game."
