Wenger: Englishman best for England

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger maintains England's next manager must be English.[LNB] Fabio Capello has confirmed he intends to leave the role when his contract expires after the 2012 European Championships.[LNB]The likes of Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp, Liverpool coach Roy Hodgson, Sunderland's Steve Bruce and current England Under-21 manager Stuart Pearce have all been touted as possible replacements.[LNB]Arsenal boss Wenger was himself once top of the Football Association's wanted list, but the Frenchman remains committed to the Gunners' cause, having just signed a contract extension.[LNB]Wenger firmly believes the next man in charge of the Three Lions must be home-grown.[LNB]"I always come out with the same answer. Let the national team take somebody from England and that represents the country. That is the best way to do it," he said.
