Wenger builds up title chances

I say yes," he said. "I've said that since the first day of the season and it won't change now.[LNB]"We want to show consistency and intelligence and that is not easy. I believe we have the opportunity and it will be down to our attitude."[LNB]Robbie Keane suggested earlier in the week that Spurs' squad had a greater strength in depth, although the heavy defeat leaves his comments without credibility.[LNB]When asked whether Spurs can challenge Arsenal in the league, Wenger said: "We have to see over a longer period.[LNB]Positive"I am positive for us because we have the minimum points with the performances we have produced. Will Tottenham be up there? I don't know. It's too early.[LNB]"It is not about opinion, it is about performance on the pitch. That is what is important.[LNB]"We took advantage of the shock of the first goal and in the second half we always played a little restricted.[LNB]"After the third there wasn't the impression that Spurs would come back."[LNB]Despite the comfortable scoreline, the Gunners boss threw his jacket onto the ground in the second half in frustration, although his side kept their first clean sheet in the Premier League since September.[LNB]"I threw my jacket down because I was frustrated, I couldn't communicate with the players because of the noise of the stadium - I am not used to that!" he added.[LNB]The only sour note for Arsenal was losing Nicklas Bendtner for a month to injury - "It is a groin problem and looks serious," Wenger confirmed.[LNB]The home side's third goal was scored on the hour mark as Spurs went to sleep as Eduardo went down injured.[LNB]Arsenal carried on while the Tottenham defenders stopped in their tracks, and Bacary Sagna squeezed his cross between King and Gomes into the path of Van Persie.[LNB]"We stopped as well so you cannot say we had an unfair advantage," Wenger added. "You always say play on until the whistle."[LNB]
