Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is adamant that Jack Wilshere will not play in England's friendly against Holland on Wednesday night.[LNB] Wilshere picked up an ankle injury in last week's friendly with New York Red Bulls and missed Saturday's defeat to Benfica.[LNB]Fabio Capello, however, named him in his squad for this week's friendly.[LNB]"They can include him as much as they want, he will not play," said Wenger.[LNB]Arsenal were also without Samir Nasri, Theo Walcott, Laurent Koscielny and Cesc Fabregas for the Benfica match, and Robin Van Persie, Kieran Gibbs and Thomas Vermaelen all picked up injuries during the match.[LNB]"Van Persie has an ankle problem, I don't know how bad it is," said Wenger. "Gibbs has a muscular [thigh] problem and Vermaelen has a slight back problem."[LNB]An injury to Gibbs would be particularly damaging as Gael Clichy's exit leaves Armand Traore as the club's second-choice left-back.[LNB]Arsenal play Newcastle in the opening game of the Premier League on Saturday and then Udinese in a Champions League qualifying match on Tuesday evening.
