ew Barcelona striker David Villa has revealed he will do everything in his power to get Spain colleague Cesc Fabregas to the club.[LNB] The 23-year-old midfielder has long been linked with a switch from the Emirates to the Nou Camp, to rejoin his boyhood club.[LNB]But Arsenal have dug their heels in and a deal for the Spanish World Cup winner now looks unlikely, after the Gunners rejected an initial £25million bid.[LNB]Former Valencia forward Villa hopes his Spain team-mate will join the Primera Division champions, and is determined to assist the move.[LNB]"I am not the Barcelona coach, nor the person responsible for reinforcements, but personally I will do the maximum to get Cesc here," he said in The Sun.[LNB]"He wants to play here and it will be quite normal if Arsenal finally do a deal.[LNB]"That would be great. A player of his ability will only increase our power and his presence will be great for all the forwards.[LNB]"He'll help Xavi and (Andres) Iniesta, and I'll score more goals with him in the side."
