Sky Sources understand that Patrick Vieira is to stay at Inter Milan, despite reports suggesting he could return to the Premier League. The France midfielder has been strongly linked with a switch back to England, with North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur said to be keen. Gunners boss Wenger, who signed Vieira from AC Milan in 1996, has hinted he could make a move for his former captain, but rumours of a shock deal have since gone quiet. It has been claimed Vieira could leave Serie A champions Inter in a bid to secure regular first-team football ahead of next summer's World Cup. But it is understood the 33-year-old is to remain at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, ending speculation of a sensational return to England's top fight.
