Vela has failed to command a place in the Gunners starting XI since joining in 2005 and the Mexico forward is eager for first-team football to stake a claim in his country's World Cup challenge.[LNB]Vela had hoped for a regular berth in the Arsene Wenger's side following the departure of Emmanuel Adebayor but has only managed one appearance for Arsenal this term - as a substitute in the 2-0 Carling Cup win over West Brom.[LNB]The 20-year-old, who has already had spells on loan in Spain at Salamanca and Osasuna, now looks likely to opt for another stint in La Liga with Xerez desperately needing a goalscorer to lift them off the foot of the table.[LNB]"We are looking to bring in a forward who can stop the lack of goals in the team," a Xerez spokesperson said.[LNB]"We are looking at a number of options in the European and Spanish markets and it is possible that Carlos will arrive in the winter market."[LNB][LNB] Arsenal 1/4, Draw 4/1, Olympiacos 9/1
