Van Persie set for Latics return

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie looks set to return for the Gunners when they take on Wigan on Saturday. The Dutch forward missed Arsenal's win over Standard Liege with a knee problem but is in line for the club's first Premier League game since last weekend's controversial clash with Manchester City. However, Arsene Wenger conceded that Russian attacker Andrey Arshavin only has a ten per cent chance of featuring against the Latics after aggravating a groin problem while on international duty. Goalkeeper Manuel Almunia may shake off a virus in time for the game at the Emirates Stadium, which captain Cesc Fabregas says is a must-win tie. "Now let us focus on Wigan because the Premier League is the most important thing for Arsenal," he said. "When we play every three days, it is always like a final for Arsenal who want to be at the top. "It is just one more game and the season has just started so we have a lot of time to recover."
