U-turn for Premier League target Huntelaar as he opts to stay at Milan

Staying put: Klass-Jan Huntelaar[LNB]Arsenal, West Ham, Tottenham and Liverpool have been dealt a deadline day blow with the news that Holland striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar is to stay at AC Milan for the rest of the season.[LNB]Huntelaar, 26, has been linked with a move to the Premier League throughout January having failed to live up to a reputation forged at Ajax two years ago. [LNB]He has scored just three goals in 12 league games since his summer move from Real Madrid where he had spent a solitary season.[LNB]Huntelaar said: 'I have decided to remain at Milan because there are so many people here with whom I have built a great rapport.[LNB]'And I am happy in this club.'[LNB]Former Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini, a reported target of Manchester City, has also indicated he will staying in Milan.[LNB]'There are so many clubs that have shown an interest in my services,' the 25-year-old told the club's official website, www.acmilan.com.[LNB]'But for the time being, I am happy here.'
