Upson in dark over Hammers future
The Hammers are struggling financially and with the former Arsenal defender being one of their main assets, boss Gianfranco Zola may be forced to raise some revenue.[LNB]Upson, 30, faces his old side in the FA Cup at Upton Park on Sunday, where Arsenal are expected to take a closer look at the man they sold to Birmingham in 2003, should he make the West Ham squad.[LNB]Zola may, however, opt to leave his key man out to prevent devaluing his worth as Upson's involvement would cup-tie him for the remainder of this year's competition.[LNB]The Gunners are reportedly set to battle it out with North London rivals Tottenham for his signature this month, but Upson insists he has no idea what will happen during the transfer window.[LNB]"It's difficult because there are so many things out of my control and things that may happen," he told the Daily Star Sunday. "All I can focus on is getting myself right and being in the best form I can for West Ham."[LNB]He added: "As players we can only worry about our performances.
