Trapattoni gives nod to Lawrence

Liam Lawrence will start for the Republic of Ireland in Saturday's World Cup play-off first leg against France at Croke Park.Republic manager Giovanni Trapattoni has preferred the Stoke midfielder to Celtic's Aiden McGeady.
