Reports suggest that Kolo Toure has signed a new five-year contract with Arsenal.

The 22-year-old Ivory Coast international has been in outstanding form for the Gunners so far this season and has been a solid presence at the heart of the Premiership side's defence.

Arsene Wenger bought Toure in a cut-price £250,000 deal from Asec Mimosas in February 2002.

Toure played 26 Premiership games for Arsenal last season and has been an ever-present during the current campaign.
