Luka Modric believes that Tottenham have the rest of Europe running scared after their 4-1 demolition of FC Twente in the Champions League.Goals from Rafael van der Vaart, Gareth Bale and two from Roman Pavlyuchenko capped a thrilling night, which also saw a missed panalty and a red card for the Dutchman.Harry Redknapp's men are now well positioned in Group A but face a trip to European champions Inter Milan in their next fixture. The Nerazzuri also ran out convincing winners on Wednesday night, thrashing Werder Bremen 4-0 at the San Siro.[LNB] Be afraid, be very afraid: Roman Pavlyuchenko, Peter Crouch (left) andRafael van der Vaart (right) celebrate during Spurs' impressive Champions League winover FC Twente at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night [LNB]However Modric insists that Spurs fear no-one in the competition and that it is now Europe's big guns - and even a club as famous as Inter - who must worry about facing them.'We showed that the whole team deserves [other] teams to be scared of us and if we play like we did we don't need to be scared of anyone in the Champions League,' said Modric.[LNB] Pick that out: Van der Vaart slams in the volley that gave Tottenham the lead[LNB]'When I came here I joined Spurs toplay big games, to play Champions League, to win trophies in Englandand I hope we are in the right way. You need to believe. If you don'tbelieve, you can never get anything. This team is definitely startingto get that belief now.'Headded: 'Inter Milan will be amazing for us to play against them,' saidModric. 'We fancy our chances. Why not? Tonight we got three points andwe are relaxed for that game. We don't have anything to lose. We arelooking forward to that game.[LNB]'We have confidence we will go through. We are in a good position now but there are still a lot of games to the end. We go game by game and see where we finish.'[LNB] Character: Spurs scored a further two goals and won despite Van der Vaart's second-half red card[LNB]Modric also believes that, byovercoming the loss of Van der Vaart early in the second half to scorea further two goals and emerge victorious, Spurs showed the rest of thecontinent that they are made of stern stuff. 'Itis an unbelievable night for us. We led 2-0 and then we let them backin, which made it a little edgy for us. Even if we had one player lesswe played very well and deserved to win. Everything was perfect.[LNB]Nice problem to have: Harry Redknapp must work out how to get the best out of Van der Vaart and Modric with both in the same team[LNB]'When they sent off our player weshowed character. We didn't panic, we tried to play our game and scoredtwo goals with one player less.'Vander Vaart's form since his 8million deadline-day move to White HartLane has been impressive and his attacking role at White Hart Lane onWednesday meant a more withdrawn role for Modric.[LNB]Redknapp still has to find a way of getting the best out of both playmakers in teh same team, but Spurs captain Ledley King is in no doubt that the two can hit it off and form a midfield partnership to be reckoned with. 'They could be brilliant,' King said. 'I have seen them work together. When they're in training, it's tough to get the ball off them. They're so small, their touch is so good and they play little one-twos they're just brilliant players.'The more they play together, the better it will be. They can open any defence, and we have players who can score. We know Jermain Defoe is injured but Pav showed against Twente that he is a goalscorer by stepping up and scoring his penalties.'Rafael also has the ability to take the team by the scruff of the neck. You can see he wants the ball and wants to make things happen and that gives everyone a lift.'[LNB] Phew!
