Tottenham's Aaron Lennon could be ruled out of Arsenal match

The England international limped off late in the 1-0 defeat by Stoke on Saturday and is set to undergo a scan to determine the seriousness of his injury. Lennon has been outstanding for Spurs this season and he may have been rested for the fourth-round tie at White Hart Lane, but manager Harry Redknapp is desperate to have the player fit for the North London derby. “I am hoping Ledley [King] will be okay for Saturday but we need to get Aaron a scan to see how much damage there is to his ankle,” said Redknapp. “Hopefully he’s not too bad and he could recover but we’ll have to wait and see.” Redknapp is also without Luka Modric, a long-term absentee, and Jermain Defoe is suspended. Jonathan Woodgate is also missing, after suffering a head injury early in the Stoke game, and the England central defender is also set for a scan to determine if he has suffered a fractured cheekbone. “Jonathan is having a scan after getting a smack on the head. His face is really swollen and we need to see if he has a fracture,” added Redknapp. Redknapp, who took Spurs to the Carling Cup final last season, is set to give fringe players rare chances, with David Bentley, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Alan Hutton all expected to feature against Everton.
