Tottenham strikers rule the roost with four hat-tricks and 27 goals

24 Nov 2009 - 14:39:15

Tottenham's nine-goal hammering of Wigan on Sunday included five goals from Jermain Defoe - taking his total for the season to 12 and the total Spurs' four forwards have scored to 27 - more than any other club in the Premier League.
Defoe's second hat-trick of the season is also the fourth scored by a Tottenham striker this term and with Harry Redknapp's side scoring for fun this season, there's every chance they could steal that all-important Champions League spot.
Here, Sportsmail lists every club's top-flight strikers, the total number of games played in all competitions and goals scored.

constant rotation and repeated under performance of some good players. in the past few home games the majority of fans & local radio commentators who include experienced ex town players have ridiculed J M's tactics & team selection. As the local press said this week in spite of 3 years of effort J M is yet to come close to improving our team. lets hope Marcus Evans calls Alan curbishley before it's too late.

I think you're out of your depth Jim. Ipswich is a bigger club than you think and the fans want success. You should let the youngsters have a go instead of letting them go on loan.Use your money wisely before its too late! All the best for the rest of the season cos we need it!
