Following the departures of Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas in the summer, keeping hold of their captain was vital for the gunners.
The Dutchman has carried his team and lead by example this season with 13 goals to his name already, his form has been nothing short of spectacular so far this season.
If Arsenal are to succeed it seems that keeping hold of Van Persie is vital.
