Thierry Henry: Come And Get Me, Arsenal

Every club has that one legendary player who is never criticized by fans, no matter how bad he performs. For Liverpool it's Steven Gerrard, for Chelsea Didier Drogba and for Arsenal - Thierry Henry.

The legendary Frenchman might return to Emirates as a part of Wenger's staff, due his New York Red Bulls contract expiring next month.

'One thing is clear: I will stay in football, either to manage, be a consultant or an executive.'

The 37-year-old might be entering the final month of professional career, with the Arsenal gaffer interested in his return to the club's bench, only this time not in the role of player.

But Henry also told L'Equipe nothing is still clear. No decisions were made regarding recent rumours and it's only in the future when we'll find out will the Frenchman be returning to London.

'A second thing is clear: I would like to see Arsenal win the Champions League. After, whether now or in the future, it's not my decision, but I would like to help.

‘Because this is my club and, as a player, I have not been able to give them the Champions League.’

The forward was obviously haunted by the club's unsuccessful CL grand final versus Barcelona in 2005 and the fact he never won the trophy as player. This may be the key reason for Henry's possible return - winning the competition alongside Arsene Wenger.
