THE INSIDER: Wayne Bridge joins Liverpool wish-list

Simon Jones is Sportsmail'sman on the inside of all the major transfer moves this summer. [LNB]  His column, published every weekday, offers an insight into the deals which will be done and those that won't - and why. [LNB]A 5/5-rating  means The Insider reckons it's a done deal; 0/5 means The Insider has his mortgage on it not happening.[LNB]Don't miss your daily instalment of The Insider every weekday through the transfer window here at MailOnline.[LNB]Wayne Bridge Manchester City to Liverpool - The Insider says: 1/5The former England international has not had the best of years and it is about to get worse with the impending arrival of Aleksander Kolarov from Lazio.[LNB]Other clubs waking up to the situation have started to discuss the possibility of taking Bridge away and his name has cropped up in conversations at Liverpool. [LNB] Bridge too far: Liverpool are interested in the Manchester City full-back but the Eastlands club wouldn't be so keen to see him join a rival[LNB]Roy Hodgson is determined to sign two left-backs, although just one would do for now, and ideally would have someone who is accustomed to the Premier League.[LNB]However, Liverpool's lack of funds is a handicap and that is making any deal for Wigan's Maynor Figueroa difficult. [LNB]Equally, City do not want to do rivals such as Liverpool any favours by allowing them to have Bridge on the cheap and, even if a deal could be struck, the former Chelsea defender is on massive wages - figures that Liverpool can't afford to contemplate at the moment.[LNB]Humberto Suazo Monterrey to Birmingham - The Insider says: 3/5 Sportsmail revealed Birmingham's interest in the Chile international at the start of this week and they are putting together an £8million offer. [LNB]Sunderland have long been on Suazo's trail, again as reported in Sportsmail earlier this summer, and he almost joined Steve Bruce last year. [LNB]However, he had a spell on loan from Monterrey at Real Zaragoza and, despite a difficult start, won the fans over before impressing in flashes at the World Cup. [LNB] Fat Boy Slim: Chile striker Humberto Suazo, nicknamed 'Fat Boy', is a transfer target for Bairmingham [LNB]Suazo is a fireplug of a player and don't let his nickname of 'Chupete' or 'The Fat Boy' put you off. [LNB]His goals per game ratio has seen him ranked as the world's top striker in the past and he is not shy of putting a shift in. [LNB]Though it's true to say he is not the best striker in the world he would still be a decent signing if Monterrey play ball. [LNB]Birmingham won't be the only side in for him but they are developing an attractive ambitious reputation under Alex McLeish.[LNB]Andy Najar DC United to Arsenal - The Insider says: 3/5Americans often talk about the next great protege to emerge from their country and sadly they fail to fulfill potential once they land in Europe for trials. [LNB]Teenage kicks: Arsenal are keen on DC United's Andy Najar[LNB]However, Najar could be the one that finally bucks the trend. [LNB]The 17-year-old moved to America at 13 from Honduras, that goldmine of football talent, and has quickly established himself in the MLS as a player going places.[LNB]He only turned professional in March and Arsenal have invited him over for trials with the idea to take a close look and maybe strike a deal.[LNB]Arsene Wenger recommended Wilson Palacios to Steve Bruce but may decide this Honduran is more his style. [LNB]Najar has played in various positions, including right-back, but has prospered notably at right wing and attacking midfield. But he has the grit to match the skill.[LNB]Miralem SulejmaniI Ajax to West Ham - The Insider says: 2/5Fulham fans won't be the only people disappointed at Martin Jol's decision to stay at Ajax.[LNB]Hammer blow: Miralem Sulejmani wanted to leave Ajax for West Ham[LNB]Sulejmani had been hoping to break away and join West Ham on loan but Jol had blocked it two weeks ago as he feared being short of striking talent once the club succeeds in offloading Luis Suarez. [LNB]As has become apparent, Ajax have not been forthcoming in the funds Jol expected to have to rebuild the Dutch giants even though some of their big name stars are on the brink of leaving. [LNB]He feared he would have to revert to their revered youth system. However, Sulejmani has been perplexed by his lack of games in the shadow of Suarez's success and wanted the chance to play.[LNB]The 21-year-old Serb was signed for £13m from Heerenveen in 2008 but has still only played 44 games for Ajax.[LNB]Fulham, Birmingham and Everton have all shown interest in recent months but West Ham have come closest to a deal.[LNB]   More from Simon Jones - The Insider... THE INSIDER: Wigan land Hamilton youngster James McArthur as Mikel Arteta's Everton future remains unclear with Sevilla set to pounce21/07/10 THE INSIDER: Newcastle edge ahead in Sol Campbell race as Spurs wade in to Loic Remy transfer tussle20/07/10 THE INSIDER: Romelu Lukaku set for Chelsea, Celtic eye Newcastle's Steve Harper and Aston Villa face competition for Aiden McGeady15/07/10 THE INSIDER: Liverpool to let Emiliano Insua join Fiorentina, Hull want loan star Martyn Waghorn and Celtic keen on Keiren Westwood14/07/10 THE INSIDER: Craig Bellamy set to seal Spurs switch as Stoke sign Everton's Carlo Nash and Milos Krasic runs out of options13/07/10 THE INSIDER: Stoke stand firm over Celtic target James Beattie and Newcastle keeper Fraser Forster is set to head out of Toon12/07/10 THE INSIDER: Didier Drogba down Manchester City priorities, Javier Mascherano too pricey, Steven Pienaar far from Spurs09/07/10 THE INSIDER: Fancy Zlat?
