Simon Jones is Sportsmail's man on the inside of all the major transfer moves this summer. [LNB]  His column, published every weekday, offers an insight into the deals which will be done and those that won't - and why. [LNB]A 5/5-rating  means The Insider reckons it's a done deal; 0/5 means The Insider has his mortgage on it not happening.[LNB]Don't miss your daily instalment of The Insider every weekday through the transfer window here at MailOnline.[LNB]Sol CampbellArsenal to Celtic - The Insider says: 3/5 Taking his time: Campbell is pondering his next move[LNB]Campbell's preference would be to stay at Arsenal and play in the Premier League but, despite reports to the contrary, there has been no formal offer from the Gunners. [LNB]Arsene Wenger has indicated that he wants to extend Campbell's second spell at the club but cannot make a firm decision until August, and even then is unlikely to offer him more than a one-year deal. [LNB]Celtic will give the veteran defender two years and Campbell is weighing up the possibility of a move to the SPL after talks in Glasgow.[LNB]Another option is to move to Germany with Hamburg-based club St Pauli, who will also offer Campbell a two-year deal and can eclipse Celtic's financial terms. [LNB]Landon DonovanLA Galaxy to Manchester City - The Insider says: 1/5 City's scouts at the World Cup have been keeping an eye on Donovan, who continued his impressive form on loan at Everton last season with three goals for the USA in South Africa. [LNB]But with Roberto Mancini keen to add Aston Villa's James Milner to his midfield after completing the signing of David Silva from Valencia, there is unlikely to be room for Donovan as well. [LNB] Loan star: Donovan could be heading for a second spell in the Premier League[LNB]Mancini also has Craig Bellamy, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Vladimir Weiss, although at least one of those three wide players is expected to leave before the start of the season. [LNB]Donovan is still expected to return to the Premier League next season - just don't bank on it being at Manchester City.     [LNB]Robbie BlakeBurnley to Bolton - The Insider says: 4/5Up the road: Blake can stay in the top flight[LNB]Blake is expected to leave Burnley on a free transfer and join his old manager Owen Coyle at Bolton on a one-year deal. [LNB]The veteran striker was a fans' favourite at Turf Moor after helping Coyle's team into the Premier League during his second spell at the club, but he became an increasingly isolated figure under Brian Laws as Burnley were relegated.[LNB] Coyle has given the 34-year-old a chance to stay in the top flight and believes he can get the best out of Blake, who has turned down a switch to Hearts in favour of a short move across Lancashire.   [LNB]EduardoArsenal to Aston Villa - The Insider says: 2/5Arsene Wenger needs to offload some of his fringe players and Eduardo wants more first-team football, but Arsenal would prefer to sell him abroad than see him play for a Premier League rival. [LNB] Battler: Eduardo fought his way back after suffering a terrible injury[LNB]Although Valencia have shown interest in the Croatia international, who has revived his career after suffering a bad leg break, they would prefer a more imposing striker like Roque Santa Cruz to replace Birmingham-bound Nikola Zigic. [LNB]Villa boss Martin O'Neill is keen to add more guile to an attack that includes Emile Heskey and John Carew, and Edurado definitely fits the bill, but it is unlikely to happen.[LNB]  More from Simon Jones - The Insider... THE INSIDER: Magaye Gueye to join Everton as Pompey pair head for Lazio and Benfica get tough over Man City target David Luiz29/06/10 THE INSIDER: Blackburn eye Raul but Spain legend looks set to join MLS as Wigan set sights on South Africa star Siphiwe Tshabalala28/06/10 THE INSIDER: Liverpool weigh Albert Riera future, no Turkish delight for Alex Song and Birmingham eye Yuto Nagatomo25/06/10 THE INSIDER: William Gallas knocks back Juventus as Wigan bolster squad with Mauro Boselli24/06/10 THE INSIDER: Ghana star Asamoah Gyan invites West Ham bid but Jlloyd Samuel unlikely to head for Newcastle23/06/10 THE INSIDER: West Ham lose Thierry Henry race, Birmingham back in for Ryan Babel and Newcastle determined to keep Andy Carroll22/06/10 THE INSIDER: Spurs boss Harry Redknapp likes the look of Diego Forlan as Birmingham join the queue for Ivory Coast ace Gervinho21/06/10 THE INSIDER: Toure says Yaya to Manchester City, Milan Jovanovic still heading to Liverpool, QPR close in on Darren Ambrose18/06/10 THE INSIDER: Steve Sidwell set to leave Aston Villa for Fulham and Manchester United must up the stakes to land Simon Kjaer17/06/10 VIEW FULL ARCHIVE[LNB]
