The Goalden Gunners! Wenger's entertainers just can't stop scoring

[LNB]Cescy football: Captain Fabregas leads the way as Arsenal go on another scoring rampage against AZ Alkmaar[LNB]Arsene Wenger claims never to have had it so good and, with Arsenal's rampant strike force re-writing the record books, it is easy to see why. [LNB]While it may still be too early toconvince the sceptics that Wenger's team are genuine title contenders this season, those that suggested Arsenal, rather than Liverpool, were the team that would be overhauled in the race for the Champions League placings are surely questioning their predictions. [LNB]After last week's 4-1 destruction of AZ Alkmaar, Wenger had no hesitation in sayingthe scoring options now at his disposal even outstrip those of his 'Invincibles'. [LNB]Quite a claim when you consider Wenger had the likes of Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Freddie Ljungberg and Robert Pires, among others, to count upon. [LNB]The 4-1 victory over Wolves onSaturday ensured Arsenal became the first team since the Premier League began in 1992 to have scored an average of three goals a game by this stage of the season.[LNB] To compound matters for rival managers wondering how to stop the flow, no less than 13 different Arsenal players have already scored in the league. [LNB] Pitching in: Andrey Arshavin's scored six times this season[LNB]There are three main protagonists, and such is the form of Robin van Persie, Andrey Arshavin and Cesc Fabregas, Wenger has every right to believe Arsenal can deliver a pasting to all comers. [LNB]The understanding the trio have is remarkable just look at the manner in which Van Persie set up Fabregas for Arsenal's third at Molineux. [LNB]The attacks are conducted at lightning speed, off-the-ball running is a joy to watch and the one-touch passing can make them unstoppable. If that were not enough, then there is the supporting cast of Eduardo, Samir Nasri and Tomas Rosicky. [LNB]Such is his embarrassment of riches, Wenger is in the advantageous position of being able to rotate without significantly weakening the overall package. [LNB]Even if that collection of talent is not enough, Arsenal have two centre backs in William Gallas and Thomas Vermaelen who can provide a different kind of goal-scoring threat the pair have already scored nine goals between them in all competitions. [LNB]Vermaelen believes Wenger's side have laid down a real marker as they seek to end a five-year trophy drought. [LNB]'If we look at the rankings, we aresecond and it is a message to other teams that we are involved in the race to be champions,' Vermaelen said. [LNB]Such adventure does, however, come at a price. Arsenal have conceded six more goals than Chelsea in the league and recent evidence suggests that a mean defence, rather than a cavalier approach, carries you to the title. [LNB]But it is strange that Manchester United's title credentials are still viewed more favourably given Sir Alex Ferguson's side, having played one more game, have conceded just two fewer goals and scored nine less. [LNB]Arsenal meet Chelsea at the Emirates on November 29. The league leaders' mean defence against Wenger's freescorers should be a fascinating clash.[LNB] Explore more:People:Andrey Arshavin, Robert Pires, Cesc Fabregas, Alex Ferguson, ThomasVermaelen, Robin van Persie, Thierry HenryPlaces:Liverpool
