TalkSPORT pulls off major coup by snatching commentary rights from BBC

TalkSPORT have bolstered their Premier League coverage by snatching two packages away from BBC 5Live.[LNB]From next season, the commercial station will be only place where fans can listen to live Premier League commentary on games kicking off at 5.30pm on Saturdays and the early kick-off on Sundays.[LNB]It is a blow to the BBC, who have been awarded four of the seven national radio broadcast rights' packages for the 2010-11 to 2012-13 seasons.[LNB] Main men: 5Live's Alan Green and Graham Taylor in the commentary box[LNB]The BBC's package includes Saturday lunchtime and the pick of the 3pm fixtures, as well as Sunday 4pm and Monday night matches.[LNB]Absolute Radio were awarded the final package for the second pick of Saturday 3pm fixtures.
