Szczesny earns great Scott praise

rentford boss Andy Scott hailed Wojciech Szczesny after the Arsenal loanee pulled off a late wonder save to earn a 0-0 draw at Bristol Rovers.[LNB] The 19-year-old Pole somehow threw himself to block a point-blank shot from Chris Lines nine minutes from time following good work from Rovers' young substitute Elliot Richard.[LNB]Lines held his head in disbelief, but afterwards Scott said: "That was just a routine stop for Wojciech. We have kept 14 clean sheets this season and he has been in goal for about 10 of them.[LNB]"His performances suggest that he would not be out of place in the Championship or even the Premier League. It has reached the stage where when he lets in a goal we wonder why he hasn't saved it.[LNB]"Arsene Wenger rates him very highly so it's unlikely he will be staying with us beyond the end of this season, but he has done a tremendous job."[LNB]Scott added: "We have had a busy schedule with an inexperienced team and the players deserve huge credit. To be on 57 points with a few games to go is something most people at Brentford would have settled for at the start of the season."
