Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been hit with the news that central defender Philippe Senderos will be out for three weeks due to a knee injury.
As Wenger prepares for the FA Cup clash with Wolves he revealed that Senderos will not play this weekend because he has picked up a medial ligament problem in training.
The injury will keep him out for around three weeks and he misses out on a match that he would have started after Wenger confirmed he may juggle the defence, but that the midfield and the attack will not be changed.
Wenger said: "Maybe I will bring in some new players at the back but in midfield and up front we will have quite a stable team.
"We have a few players with little knocks but overall the situation is the same as it was before the Newcastle game," Wenger told the club's official website.
"We have no new injuries from the team that started that game. But this week in training we did lose Philippe Senderos with a medial knee ligament. He will be out for three weeks."
