Arsenal and Spain international midfield maestro, Santi Cazorla, has been named the PFA Fans' Player of the Month for December.

Santi was presented with his award ahead of Arsenals 5-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday, by Football.co.uk Managing Director, Simon Boynton.

The Arsenal midfielder has been the standout performer for Arsenal again this month as Arsenal continue to remain in the hunt for a Champions League place next season. The Spanish midfielder put in a man of the match performance against Manchester City as Arsenal beat Manchester City away from home. Cazorla scored from the penalty spot and also set up the goal for Olivier Giroud to seal the victory. Arsenal are currently 6th in the Premier League, one point behind 5th placed Tottenham. Arsenal have taken six points from a possible nine so far in January and will hope to make that nine with a win over Aston Villa today.
