Ryan Giggs dismisses Liverpool and Manchester City's Premier League chances

Ryan Giggs cannot see Liverpool or Manchester City challenging for the Barclays Premier League title this season. [LNB]Manchester United star Giggs is desperate to get his hands on the crown again after Chelsea took the honours last season and the veteran Welshman regards the Londoners as the only real danger. [LNB]The 36-year-old, who has won the title a record 11 times, said: 'They (Chelsea) are the champions and they've been there and done it like us. [LNB] [LNB] Still going strong: Giggs (right) is about to start his 21st season at Old Trafford[LNB]'Arsenal have got talented players, but they've not won the title for a number of years. [LNB]'Then you've got Tottenham, Liverpool, Aston Villa and City.' [LNB]Referring to derby rivals City, Giggs told the Manchester Evening News: 'You can't say they are not bringing in quality players but it is a question of how quickly they can gel together. [LNB]'They showed last season that on their day they can beat anyone, but it was that consistency that they lacked. [LNB]'They've got the quality, but it doesn't necessarily mean they are going to be in front.' [LNB]United start their campaign with a home match against Newcastle on Monday, August 16.
