The pair have been at the centre of one of the season's most talked-about incidents after Adebayor was found guilty of violent conduct towards his former Arsenal team-mate.[LNB]Adebayor was judged to have deliberately stamped on the Dutchman during City's controversial 4-2 win earlier this month and has been banned for three games over the clash.[LNB]The incident, which left Van Persie with a cut to the face, was followed later in the game by an exuberant goal celebration, causing trouble with the visiting fans at Eastlands.[LNB]The Togo international has since apologised for sparking such scenes but has yet to do likewise for his stamp on Van Persie, and the Dutchman is not holding his breath to hear from him.[LNB]"No, I don't expect an apology," said Van Persie. "My feelings are the same. I don't want to waste more time on Mr Adebayor.[LNB]"A referee at the start of the season came and explained that if they think it is worse than a three-game suspension, they will ban for four or five.[LNB]"But Adebayor got the ban for what he did because what he did was not right."[LNB][LNB]
