Russia boss Dick Advocaat fears his star players are rotting on the bench in the Barclays Premier League.[LNB]The Dutchman has defended Andrey Arshavin's indifferent run of form at Arsenal, but warned Roman Pavlyuchenko, Yury Zhirkov and Diniyar Bilyaletdinov that they must get more game time at their clubs.[LNB]'Pavlyuchenko plays irregularly for Tottenham, though he played a full 45 minutes against Wigan and his team lost,' said Advocaat. [LNB] Backing: Andrey Arshavin's patchy from for the Gunners has been defended by Advocaat [LNB]'He couldn't help them. I think he needs to work even harder than he did before the Bulgaria friendly (earlier this month). But he remains a quality and hard-working forward. I believe in him.[LNB]'I'm not happy with the situation of Bilyaletdinov, Zhirkov and Pavlyuchenko not having regular match practice.[LNB]Warning: Advocaat reckons Pavlychenko needs to play more games[LNB]'This is very harmful to them and for success in national team they need to play more.' [LNB]Zhirkov has not played a minute of Premier League football for Chelsea this season but was denied a return to Russia with Zenit St Petersburg. [LNB]Bilyaletdinov has lost his place in the Everton side and was an unused substitute in the defeat by Aston Villa yesterday, while Pavlyuchenko has yet to start in the League but scored against Young Boys in the Champions League play-off first leg.[LNB]Arshavin has scored twice in three games for Arsenal but has been otherwise quiet.[LNB]However, Advocaat said: 'Arshavin is one of Arsenal's leaders and a player of European level. [LNB]'But I'd like to see more players like that in our team.'
