Ronaldo materclass sends Reds to Rome

Cristiano Ronaldo struck twice as Manchester United cruised into the final of the Champions League for the second successive season with a 3-1 win at Arsenal - a 4-1 aggregate victory. The Gunners started brightly, but were stunned when Park Ji-sung capitalised on a slip by Kieran Gibbs to grab a crucial away goal on eight minutes before Ronaldo then fired in a superb 40-yard free-kick past Manuel Almunia. Ronaldo added a third on the break just after the hour as Arsene Wenger's side failed to rise to the challenge, but did net a consolation penalty from Robin van Persie when Darren Fletcher was sent off - and will miss the final - after being adjudged to have fouled Cesc Fabregas.
