Staying put: But Baptista has struggled to secure first team action at Roma Julio Baptista's agent insists the Roma striker will not be returning to the Premier League this season. The former Arsenal forward has been linked with West Ham and Manchester City but agent Herminio Menendez denied there was any truth in such talk. He said: 'Julio will not return to England. I can exclude this.' The 27-year-old Brazilian is out of favour with Luciano Spalletti in the Eternal City and there have been reports in Italy of a possible swap deal with Inter Milan for David Suazo. 'I don't know if this will happen, we shall see,' Menendez added. 'For the time being I rule out a permanent transfer for Julio.' Baptista was not in the squad on Sunday when Roma lost 3-2 at Genoa in Serie A.
