Midfielder Aaron Ramsey feels there is plenty more to come from him as he aims to help drive "hungry" Arsenal on towards ending their trophy drought in 2014.
The Wales international, 22, is relishing his integral role at the heartbeat of Arsene Wenger's side, from where he has scored 11 goals already this season to help the Gunners top the Barclays Premier League.
It is a remarkable turnaround in fortunes for Ramsey - now fully recovered from an horrific double leg break at Stoke in February 2010 - after facing an uncertain future following some indifferent displays last season and looking short on confidence.
The former Cardiff trainee, signed by Wenger in June 2008 for £5million, intends to take the plaudits in his stride as he focuses on maintaining performance levels ahead of Arsenal's home clash with Marseille, where the Gunners will aim to move a step closer to the Champions League knockout stages.
"I am keen to improve on things and keep enjoying the way I am playing and the team is playing at the moment," said Ramsey.
"I know there is room for improvement which I am working hard on and I am trying hard every day.
"I am feeling really confident and the team is confident as well, so that all helps."
Ramsey sees no reason why Wenger's latest crop of talent cannot last the distance and finally deliver a first trophy since the 2005 FA Cup.
"We are always hungry to win things and to win games. It is no different this season," he said.
"In the last few seasons we have suffered from getting off to bad starts and having to play catch up, now we have put ourselves in a fantastic opportunity early on so hopefully we can continue that over the Christmas period because we know our form after Christmas has been second to none over the last few seasons.
"Hopefully we can put ourselves in that position where we are there or thereabouts because we know we are confident enough after that."
It was Ramsey's second-half header which helped secure a 1-0 smash-and-grab raid at Borussia Dortmund earlier this month which put Arsenal back on course to qualify from Group F.
Ramsey feels the team can be proud of their response from having been well-beaten at home by the Germans in the third round of matches.
He said: "Having lost at home against Dortmund there was a bit of pressure on us to go there and get a result, which we have done and we did ever so well.
"We are back in a strong position again, so let's take it into the next game, hopefully get the win there and put ourselves in an even stronger position to qualify."
