Ramsey has faith in medics
Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey has complete trust in the Arsenal medical staff to let him know when he will be fit and ready for a return to action.
The 20-year-old is closing in on a comeback following eight months of rehabilitation after suffering a broken leg in a challenge with Stoke's Ryan Shawcross in the Barclays Premier League game at the Britannia Stadium in February.
Ramsey has been forced to take things gradually and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger admits impatience is often the most difficult hurdle for a young player to overcome following a serious injury.
"I think it depends on the individual, sometimes people like to take a bit longer to make sure everything is spot on and some people want to get back as soon as they can," Ramsey told Arsenal TV Online. "I am just going with what the staff are saying here. I trust them and I am just doing the best I can at this moment in time."
Ramsey hopes he will be fully fit again by the end of the year. "I am just doing my pre-season work now, trying to get a bit of spring back in my right leg, but apart from that all is going well so far," he added. "I have been doing strengthening exercises and those sorts of things for a long time now and I am starting to feel the benefits.
"I am now outside training with the fitness coach. It feels great to be back outside and kicking the ball around again. I think I am on track, the target is November time. I am a very motivated guy and I have missed it a lot. It has made me realise how much it means to me. I just want to get back out there and start doing what I used to do."
