Race to sign Sanchez joined by Arsenal

Well respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has stated that Arsenal will be competing with Liverpool and Juventus for the services of Barcelona ace Alexis Sanchez.

The World Cup has provided the Chilean winger with a perfect shop window to showcase his skills with fine performances sure to wet the appetites of Premier League bosses.

It is thought that Juventus were leading the race to sign the Chile ace but find his price tag an obstacle to the deal while Liverpool are more focused on gaining the services of Adam Lallana, a deal which has also stalled over the cost.

Arsenal have also now joined the race although it remains to be seen if Wenger would be willing himself to meet the reported £30million price tag. Arsene Wenger will have seen that no party has reached an accord and will have been encouraged by the wingers performances.

To further complicate proceedings it seems that rumours of Suarez being part of a cash plus Sanchez deal would not be a bad situation for Liverpool should the Uruguayan decide to move on in the Summer and if Liverpool’s own high valuation is met.
