Premier League dream for Mexican Guillermo Ochoa despite Fulham snub

Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa remains keen on a move to England despite seeing a move to Fulham fall through.[LNB]The 25-year-old has returned to employers Club America after spending his vacation in London in an attempt to clinch a move to Craven Cottage.[LNB]Fulham boss Mark Hughes denied at the weekend that Ochoa had been on trial in west London and the Mexico City club have responded by confirming: 'Club America and our player Guillermo Ochoa, due to conditions imposed by Fulham, could not reach an agreement in accordance with the best interest of the club and our player.[LNB] Enlarge England is watching: Ochoa faces a penalty from Manchester City's Emmanuel Adebayor in pre-season[LNB]'The club maintains its position of supporting our goalkeeper's wishto move to European football if an opportunity presents itself, andthat is satisfactory to Ochoa and for America.'[LNB]It has been suggested that the Mexicans wanted in excess of £8million for a player who has only six months left on his contract.[LNB]Although 'Memo' wants to make the move to Europe, he does not wantto hurt his club by leaving on a free and is even considering acontract extension.[LNB]Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked and are obviously more likely to make a move if no fee is involved.[LNB] In the spotlight: Ochoa has caught the eye at Club America [LNB]A move in January has not been ruled out, but Ochoa has returned totraining with Club America and he said: 'For the moment I can't speaktoo much.
