Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has mocked a rumour he could join Tottenham in January, insisting "hell will freeze over" before he moves to the Gunners' North London rivals.
The German is yet to start a Barclays Premier League match this season and one report suggested he could make a £10million switch to Spurs when the transfer window opens.
Posting a link to the rumour on Twitter, Podolski wrote: "Hell will freeze over before this transfer would happen. #Poldi #aha #AlwaysAGunner #NeverCheatYourClub #AFC #Redarmy".
Arsenal and Tottenham are currently level on points in the table and the two sides drew 1-1 at the Emirates Stadium last month.
