Players must help referees punish divers, says former FIFA official Hugh Dallas

Tough stance: Dallas[LNB]UEFA referees committee member Hugh Dallas wants players to take the lead in eradicating diving.[LNB]The European game's governing body made a U-turn last month when they accepted Eduardo's appeal after banning the Arsenal striker for two games for 'deception' in winning a penalty against Celtic in the Champions League.[LNB]But Dallas, a former FIFA official, said: 'More attention should turn on the player, rather than the referee for getting it wrong. [LNB]'I think the players must know what they are doing so I think it is up to the players and the coaches.
